One Amongst Many

Growing up within a strong Jewish tradition carried on from one generation to the next, led to the fascination in notions of trans-generationally transmitted traditions. Through pottery, an ancient tradition that links artists to a historical cycle of creation, the work explores questions pertaining to the balance between the voice of the individual and the group and the different forms and roles ascribed and passed on to individuals through time and society.
